As I sat in the office, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. Honour May, the boss, was known for being a demanding and strict leader, but also for her exceptional riding skills.
She walked in, dressed in her riding jodhpurs, and a confident smile on her face. "Alright, let's get started," she said, her voice firm but polite.
I nodded, trying to hide my nervousness. I had always looked up to Honour as a mentor and a role model, and I wanted to prove myself to her.
She began to instruct me on the finer points of horse riding, and I listened intently, taking note of every detail. But as the lesson progressed, I couldn't help but notice the way her riding jodhpurs fit her body, accentuating her curves in all the right places.
I felt a flutter in my chest, and I knew I had to focus. Honour seemed to sense my distraction, and she shot me a stern look. "Concentrate, please," she said, her voice firm but gentle.
I apologized and refocused, but I couldn't help but sneak glances at Honour's riding jodhpurs. They were truly impressive, and I found myself wondering if I could ever pull them off like she did.
As the lesson came to a close, Honour praised me on my progress, and I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. But I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had been distracted by something more than just the riding lesson.
I realized that Honour's riding jodhpurs had been a major distraction, and I apologized for it. Honour just smiled and patted me on the back, "It's okay, we all get distracted sometimes. Just remember to focus on the riding, and not on the rider."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that I had learned something valuable from Honour, not just about horse riding, but also about staying focused and professional.
As I left the office, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to work with Honour. She was an exceptional leader and a true professional, and I knew that I would always look up to her as a mentor and a role model.
