The morning light crept into the room, a gentle reminder that daybreak was already underway. Mila had been intending to rise from bed, starting her routine, and tackling the tasks that lay ahead. However, as she glanced over at him, something unexpected happened. Time seemed to stand still.

The world outside receded, and all that mattered was the quiet intimacy of the moment. The sheets, the blankets, everything seemed to fade into the background as Mila's gaze locked onto his. It was as if the universe had conspired to keep them suspended in this perpetual state of suspended animation.

As the silence stretched on, something subtle yet profound shifted. Getting out of bed, leaving the warmth and comfort of that moment, suddenly lost all its appeal. The world outside, with all its demands and expectations, receded further into the distance. All that remained was the aching awareness of their proximity, the thrumming energy that vibrated between them like an invisible thread.

The air seemed to thicken, weighing upon them like a physical presence. Every breath became a pause, every heartbeat a countdown. The clock on the wall ticked away with glacial slowness, each passing moment a subtle betrayal of their desire to linger. Yet, with each fragile caress, each delicate touch, the allure of departure dissipated, replaced by an inexorable pull toward staying.
Five more minutes, ten, twenty - the increments lost all meaning as they became lost in this vortex of proximity. The world outside receded further, until it was nothing more than a distant hum, a gentle murmur that failed to penetrate the bubble of their private universe.
